New editor and team appointed for online consumer mag


Hachette Filipacchi has appointed Lisa Helmanis as editor of its Red magazine online brand, which will launch later this autumn. She has already assembled a team that includes Ben Cooper, formerly editorial director at Travel Intelligence, as travel editor; Hannah Roche, previously on Stella magazine, as fashion and beauty editor; Charlotte Gunn from Good to Know as features and lifestyle editor; Amy James as interiors assistant; Rachel Kenworthy joins from Glamour as fashion and beauty assistant; and Ginny Henry moves over from Red magazine as picture editor. The full team will be in place from 4 October. Helmanis has been working as a freelance consultant, since January 2009 and has previously held positions including head of editorial at MyDeco, editor of Candid magazine and editor of Sunday Times Insideout magazine.
