Designer outlet chain appoints PR
McArthurGlen Designer Outlets, the first to launch the designer outlet concept to the UK and now with 19 Centres across Europe, has appointed Rain Communications to handle its UK corporate and consumer PR brief. Rain UK will take on the UK corporate brief and from 1 January 2011 the consumer and centre level PR brief. The Rain UK team, led by MD Delia Hyde, will report into McArthurGlen’s Marketing Director Shaeren McKenzie. Contact.

London model agency appoints PR
Fluorescent PR has been appointed to handle the PR for First Model Management. The boutique model agency was founded in 2007 by Gareth Roberts. The agencies ethos was to create a boutique style environment where all models represented were given equal time and focus, benefiting from the teams extensive experience and knowledge. Women's lifestyle consumer magazine to publish first ever regional edition for North West UK
Good Housekeeping magazine has produced its first-ever regional edition, to go on sale across 6,000 outlets in the North West. The December issue, which goes on sale November 4, includes ten pages of local editorial content especially for readers in Merseyside, Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and North Wales, along with six ad pages targeted to the region. The 16 page section includes pages of Christmas guides to gifts sourced locally in the North West, real-life stories from successful North-Western female businesswomen, and a column from Liverpudlian journalist Susan Lee. It also showcases the best travel destinations, restaurants, and events in the region, and features local food and produce. The regional edition will be available on both newsstands and to subscribers, in both standard and travel sizes. In total, 70,000 copies of the edition have been produced for the North West. Contact.
