Beauty PR wins new accounts

Beauty Seen PR has been appointed to oversee Revlon's PR for the UK, Europe and the Middle East until the end of the year. Revlon will continue to be led by Michelle Boon, working alongside the Revlon in-house PR team. Fused Magazine is hosting a Christmas shopping event with a large high street fashion retailer on Saturday 27 November. They will be giving the first 150 customers a goody bag and need items to include. Fused Magazine is looking for small items, samples or promo items to put in the bags. The audience will be teens - early 30's, fashion conscious women shopping for party outfits and christmas presents. The store is in one of Europe's largest shopping malls - Bullring in Birmingham and will see a huge footfall on the payday weekend. They also have an opportunity for a hair product company to be involved and have space to host a company to do demonstrations, giveaways and competitions. New publisher appointed at monthly consumer magazine

InStyle has announced the appointment of Sarah Hammond as publisher. Currently head of PR/communications for Diesel UK, Sarah has built up a wealth of experience with upmarket brands. Her previous posts also include time as marketing and communications director of Swarovski (SCP) and head of marketing for IPC’s Wallpaper*. She has also worked as a senior PR manager at L'Oreal Luxury. In her new role, Sarah will be in charge of the day to day running of InStyle and will report to publishing director Linda Swidenbank.
