After ten years as editor-in-chief of French Vogue, Carine Roitfeld has decided to leave the magazine. Roitfeld leaves French Vogue to pursue personal projects and will depart in a matter of weeks.
Jonathan Newhouse, president of Condé Nast International, released a statement saying “Carine made her mark on French Vogue thanks to her incredible talent as a stylist and editor-in-chief. She will be missed.” Xavier Romatet, Président de Condé Nast France said “I’m sorry to hear of Carine’s decision, but at the same time, I understand it. A page has turned and a new era will begin for this strong brand which is powered by strong values.” Contact.
