The Dorchester unveil charity collaboration
to celebrate 80th anniversary

In order to commemorate The Dorchester’s 80th anniversary this year, it is planting 80 long-living canopy ‘Future Great Trees’ across London. This is in tribute to the 'London Plane Tree' which has featured at the entrance of the hotel for the past 80 years. The Dorchester is collaborating with international tree-planting charity Trees for Cities in this project which will be unrolled over the next 12 months. 15 will be planted in Mayfair, forming The Dorchester’s anniversary walk. The first tree will be planted on 14 November and confirmed attendees for the event include Lily Cole, Roland Mouret, Anya Hindmarch and Jo Wood.
