Marie Claire launching its first iPad app for 2012

Marie Claire Runway on the iPad will complement the launch of the new print fashion bi-annual of the same name. Both will be available from 2 February and will be supported with a new Runway channel on the magazine’s website. Marie Claire Runway on the iPad will exclusive content including SS12 shows as chosen by members of the Marie Claire team and fashion insiders, who have been interviewed about their favourite collections.

Marie Claire publishing director Justine Southall says: “Marie Claire resonates with successful, confident women, who want to be the best in every area of their lives and always want to be in the know. With in-depth and exciting fashion content, Marie Claire Runway delivers to one of their biggest passions and they can access this new brand extension through multiple touch points.”

Marie Claire Runway for iPad will be free to download, while the print edition will be priced at £6.
