Talk PR acquires Store PR to form Talk Store division

Talk PR has acquired a majority interest in specialist boutique fashion and lifestyle PR agency, Store PR, which will merge with Talk PR's existing fashion team to form new division Talk Store on 18 March 2011.

Talk PR's Talk Store division will be headed by Store PR founder, Tania Bard, who founded her agency seven years ago. The Talk Store team will consist of Talk PR and Store PR's existing fashion teams, working in a bespoke studio space at Talk PR's headquarters in Rathbone Place.

Gabriele Hackworthy appointed fashion director at Harper’s Bazaar

Harper’s Bazaar has announced the appointment of Gabriele Hackworthy as fashion director. Gabriele joins Bazaar with more than 15 years’ experience as a fashion director and creative consultant in Sydney, New York and London. Originally from Sydney, she became fashion director at Australian Vogue at the age of 26 before moving to New York where she worked as fashion director-at-large for Japanese Vogue. She joined Chinese Vogue in 2004 when the title first launched, working in a dual role of fashion director-at-large for both Asian titles. Gabriele has directed an international roster of photographers and stylists and worked with photographers including Craig McDean, Terry Richardson and Mario Sorrenti and stylists Karl Templer, Marie Amelie Sauve and Panos Yiapanis. Gabriele, who replaces Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou, will lead the Harper’s Bazaar fashion team, reporting on trends from around the world and directing the main fashion shoots, covers and celebrities for the brand. British brand Horrockses appoints Parker Hobart
