Ethical fashion label Emesha opens e-commerce store

Emerging ethical fashion label, Emesha has opened an e-commerce store on Facebook, offering selected pieces from the SS12 collection. Stock includes abstract, digitally printed silk dresses and skirts; minimalist, ‘boy-meet-girl’ sheer shirts, shirtdresses and light woollen jackets. For those who 'like' the page Emesha offers a 10% discount until mid-June. The label’s creator, Emesha Nagy graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2006, showcased at the Swatch Alternative Fashion Week in London and has worked with Vivienne Westwood and Jasper Conran. The Emesha label is fully committed to environmental and social responsibilities. The label opts for fabrics that are AZO free, and therefore do not contain chemical dyes. Much of the fabric is sourced in the UK or comes from end-of-line, upcycled industry waste, while all fabrics are 100% natural and fully biodegradable. The brand recently received the Fashion Press Week and Mishcon de Reya’s Fashion Discovered Award.
