New online children’s marketplace to launch
in the UK next month

A new website offering parents a global emporium of children’s clothing, gifts, toys and accessories is being launched in the UK this April. The new site, titled Loubilou, enables independent sellers from around the world to create their own storefront, offering exposure to a much larger audience. Loubilou is the brainchild of Heath Kane, a designer and creative director. Aimed at parents with youngsters up to the age of 10, the site will be a one-stop shop for parents looking for high-quality, boutique children’s goods from independent sellers, designers and crafts people from around the world.

Heath commented: “Most parents have limited time and rely on major high street retailers to shop for their children. I noticed my kids, and all their friends, were looking like little department store clones. Individuality is important for children but there wasn’t a single website offering a more diverse range of clothing and toys. Loubilou.com will initially launch in the UK but we plan to roll-out across Europe within the next six months.”
