Fashion graduates ‘takeover’ October issue of Company

Company magazine has turned its October issue into a fashion graduate ‘takeover’ for the second year running. The young women’s fashion magazine has enabled seven aspiring fashion journalists to become involved in all aspects of editing from conducting the cover interview and writing key features, to styling and designing the pages. The initiative, sponsored by George at Asda, nurtures talent and offers fashion students an opportunity as they look to launch their careers. In March this year, Company launched a competition to find the best fashion graduates. With the help of representatives from George at Asda, Company invited these applicants to attend a brainstorming session at Graduate Fashion Week before the final seven were chosen. The graduates also blogged about their time with the Company team at Company.co.uk and tweeted via @companymagazine. The October issue of Company is on sale 11 September.
