Jo Hansford unveils Ecaille hair colour trend for AW13

Premium hair colour specialist Jo Hansford has unveiled Ecaille, the latest in hair colour fashion for AW13. Ecaille, meaning tortoiseshell, is a softer move on from Ombre, which works on all hair colours and can be adapted to give the best match for skin tone. For brunettes, the process marries two different depths of lights with chocolate shadows and for the warmer skin tones, Ecaille matt with ash tones gives the look a cooler edge. Winter blitz lights can add flashes of blonde around the face, illuminating a fading tan and brightening skin tone in the duller winter months. This technique uses flashes of vanilla or Icelandic blonde tones with the rest of the clients current colour, revealing a multi-tonal and elegant finish for winter. Bookings can be made via the Jo Hansford website, while colour care products are available to buy from Harvey Nichols, in-store at Jo Hansford salon and online.
