Mavala uses social media to create
the That's My Colour Collection

Earlier this year, nail colour brand Mavala launched the That’s My Colour campaign, in which the public were encouraged to post pictures to Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, using the hashtag '#ThatsMyColour', featuring images of colours to be launched as a Mavala Nail Polish. Following thousands of entries, the brand has now introduced the That’s My Colour Collection - the first range to use social media to create a product. Exclusively available at John Lewis stores nationwide, the That’s My Colour collection features three shades: Argentum, a molten silver with a chrome finish inspired by the sequined detailing of a jacket; Hearth – a forest green shade snapped within the rest-room of a restaurant; and Iridescence – inspired by the finish of petroleum reflected in the sun. The That’s My Colour Collection, priced individually at £13, will be launching into John Lewis stores in November, before becoming available nationwide from January 2014.
