Hearst Magazines UK launches
Empowering Women initiative

Hearst Magazines UK today launches a major new editorial brand aimed at celebrating the lives, aspirations and achievements of British women. Hearst Empowering Women has been unveiled during a round-table seminar at Advertising Week, hosted by the editors of Red, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping and Harper’s Bazaar. The new initiative will bring together expertise and advice from across the entire Hearst portfolio, creating a practical resource designed to help woman fulfil their potential. Partnering with Theirworld, Sarah Brown’s charity for women and children, Hearst Empowering Women will be built around a digital hub hosting talks from powerful and influential women, providing tips for success, and offering inspirational advice on a range of issues affecting women, from confidence to career development. Additional activity will include live events, workshops, master classes and roadshows along with a series of projects with Theirworld providing inspiration and mentoring to girls and women around the UK.
