Royal Society of Arts announces
new Royal Designers for Industry

The Royal Society of Arts has awarded four designers for their outstanding contribution to design and society by becoming Royal Designers for Industry (RDI), which is awarded annually to designers of all disciplines who have achieved sustained design excellence, work of aesthetic value and significant benefit to society. Those awarded this year are: Fernando Gutiérrez, Graphic Designer; Richard Rogers, Architect; Helen Storey, Professor of Fashion and Science at the Centre for Sustainable Fashion at London College of Fashion; and Neil Thomas, Structural Engineer. Additionally, French Landscape Designer Gilles Clément receives an Honorary RDI award as a non-UK designer.
