Westfield to launch food sensory experience

Shopping destination Westfield is celebrating the launch of its 2015 dining campaign, The Food Sensation, by partnering with multi-sensory design company Condiment Junkie, to create Tongue Twister, a food sensory experience that will take place over two weekends in February. Tongue Twister will enable shoppers to experience first-hand how their sense of smell, sight and sound can influence perceptions of taste at Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City. Through interactive, engaging, experiments and games, Tongue Twister will demonstrate to visitors how their sense of taste is profoundly influenced by what they see, hear and smell. Visitors will travel through four rooms full of food bites from Westfield’s restaurants and eateries; to learn how certain sounds can bring out sweetness or how colour can impact flavour. Throughout the campaign there will be a host of offers, events, tastings and workshops taking place across restaurants at both centres with a chance for customers to win foodie prizes at both centres. Tongue Twister will take place at Westfield Stratford City from 20 to 22 February, and at Westfield London from 27 February to 1 March.
