Urban Retreat at Harrods appoints
Andrew Barton as Creative Director

Urban Retreat at Harrods has today announced its partnership with British hairdresser Andrew Barton appointing him Creative Director. Following Andrew’s recent decision to close his Covent Garden salon at the end of February, it seemed like a natural opportunity for Andrew to join the Urban Retreat family, where he will be leading the creative vision for the Urban Retreat hair salon. Urban Retreat and Andrew have been in discussions for over 12 months to bring this partnership to life. The Andrew Barton for Urban Retreat Signature looks and innaugral campaign will launch to press in May 2015 and to Urban Retreat’s customers in June. Andrew will take up residency within Urban Retreat six days a month, spending the rest of his time developing key looks and trends and providing training and guidance to the immense creative talent within the salon. Further details around the launch and the creative concepts that Barton and Urban Retreat will be partnering on will follow in due course.
