Sticks ‘n’ Sushi announces opening of new London site

Sticks ‘n’ Sushi, the Skandi-influenced Japanese restaurant group has announced the opening of a fourth London site in Canary Wharf this May. The group entered the London market in 2012 with a Wimbledon site, closely followed by Covent Garden in 2014 and Greenwich early 2015. The largest of all the London venues, Canary Wharf will seat 190 covers in one large dining room with an open kitchen and 23 metre-long bar. The restaurant is situated in the new Crossrail building designed by Normal Foster. It will offer breakfast menus consisting of Danish and Japanese dishes such as quinoa maki with herbs and home-baked rye bread with smoked salmon. The main food menu will contain the classic range of high-quality chicken, duck, beef, lamb and vegetable Sticks (yakatori grills) and sushi with a diverse selection of salads. Cocktails are also on offer, with delicacies like shisho shochu, ginger, avocado, soy milk and sake sitting alongside classic gin, rum and aperol ingredients. The restaurant reservation lines will open on 27 April after an invitation-only soft launch period for employees and residents in Canary Wharf.
