British Media Awards 2015 winners announced

Winners of the 2015 British Media Awards were announced this week at a ceremony in London. Hosted by Natasha Kaplinsky, the awards highlighted the best in business across the entire media industry. The British Media Awards highlight innovation and excellence wherever it comes from – be it in print newspaper, a digital business website or a mobile version of a consumer magazine. The winners included:

Editorial Campaign of the Year - The Guardian, End Female Genital Mutilation
Commercial Campaign of the Year - Dezeen, MINI Frontiers
Best Commercial Use of Data - Immediate Media Co
Video Project of the Year - VICE, The Islamic State
Content Team of the Year - Bauer Media, The Debrief
Marketing Team of the Year - Time Inc UK
Product Team of the Year - The Guardian, The Digital Development Team
Sales Team of the Year - Global Media & Entertainment
Rising Star Award - City A.M., Emma Haslett
Media Brand of the Year - Financial Times
Media Company of the Year - Immediate Media Co
Pioneer of the Year - Tom Standage, deputy editor, The Economist
