Country & Town House announces
Julia Carrick OBE as Publisher

Monthly luxury magazine Country & Town House has announced that after 30 years at the Financial Times, Julia Carrick OBE, Founder, and formerly Publisher and Global President of FT How To Spend It, has joined the magazine as publisher. Julia will be responsible for further strengthening the magazine’s position in the luxury sector and will combine her role in this position with that of Global Luxury Advisor for Bell Pottinger Communications and her own luxury consultancy. Jeremy Isaac, co-founder and formerly Publisher of Country & Town House, will become Managing Director with immediate effect. Julia Carrick played a fundamental role in establishing and driving the FT’s global luxury goods proposition to become one of the largest and most respected industry platforms for global luxury brands. Her most accomplished success was her conception, founding and publishing of the multi-award winning supplement How To Spend It. Carrick also brings a wealth of experience through her former role as Chief Executive of Walpole where she transformed and built Walpole into the largest and most respected organisation of its kind across Europe, achieving ground breaking recognition of the British luxury industry which will benefit the industry for years to come.
