Kathleen Baird-Murray announces
new freelance contact details

Beauty director Kathleen Baird-Murray, who is leaving NET-A-PORTER on 4 June following a successful 18 months working for the business, has announced new freelance contact details. During her time at NET-A-PORTER, Kathleen established a new style of beauty coverage at PORTER magazine; oversaw the weekly beauty content on the digital magazine The EDIT; and helped introduce new brands to the beauty retail team on the e-commerce side. The author of several books, including her most recent, Vogue On: Ralph Lauren, she was previously acting beauty director at British Vogue, and beauty director for more than five years at Tatler magazine. The award-winning columnist for the Financial Times will continue writing her monthly column for the broadsheet. Additionally, she will carry on with her copywriting and consultancy work. She says: “It’s been an amazing experience to have been part of the global launch of PORTER and to work in such an entrepreneurial environment. It has inspired me to bring my own ideas to life.”
