Orla Kiely unveils collaborative collection with Leith Clark

British designer Orla Kiely has collaborated with Leith Clark, stylist, editor-in-chief of Violet and style director-at-large at Harper's Bazaar, to design a Resort 2016 collection entitled L‘Orla. The collection is the duo’s interpretation of the early 70’s style, inspired by French photographer Sarah Moon, actress Stephanie Farrow and Ossie Clark. Feminine baby-doll silhouettes with bib-collar necklines and ruffled trimming also feature Orla’s iconic prints. Orla Kiely comments: “Working on L'Orla with Leith was a real joy! She is very instinctive in everything and uncompromising in her vision. Loving images of a beautiful Stephanie Farrow, her haunting cool and the misty work of Sarah Moon, the collection evolved and became a story of dresses flowing with a nostalgic 70s charm. It's very exciting!”. The collection is priced between £99 and £499 and will be available from October.
