McArthurGlen to launch exclusive designer
collaborations at new pop-up

Rachael Barrett, Carolyn Massey and Matthew Miller (Miller is pictured here, above left) have contributed limited edition designs for the Spirit of Fashion Collection that will launch at the new McArthurGlen London pop-up shop on 7 September. The three designers were recipients of McArthurGlen Spirit of Fashion Awards 2010 and as part of the awards, McArthurGlen has provided them with 12 months PR support, access to leading industry professionals, and commercial exposure through the manufacture and sale of the Spirit of Fashion Collection, designed exclusively for this project.

The new pop-up shop is launching in Covent Garden, London, at 4 Monmouth Street for one week, then will open in Matthew Miller’s hometown of Manchester on 30 September where it will stay open for eight days, before opening in Rachael Barrett’s hometown of Glasgow for one week from 14 October.

The Spirit of Fashion Award, announced last June, were judged by Betty Jackson CBE, Peter Sidell (The Library/RCA visiting menswear professor), Professor Wendy Dagworthy OBE, Ike Rust and Tristan Webber (RCA senior fashion tutors) and Shaeren McKenzie - Marketing Director of McArthurGlen.
