BFC opens voting for this year's British Style Award

The British Fashion Council (BFC) has announced that it has now opened voting for this year's British Style Award, which was last year won by Alexa Chung. The award, presented by Vodafone, is given to an individual who embodies the spirit of London and is an international ambassador for London as a creative fashion capital. A list of nominees including Adele, Daisy Lowe, Florence Welch, Lara Stone, Stella McCartney and Tilda Swinton was compiled by a panel of key opinion formers for this year’s award.

Voting is open until 9 November and the winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on the 28 November. Members of the public are invited to vote through the British Fashion Awards website and voters will be entered into a prize draw to win two tickets to attend the BFA awards ceremony. Voters can also make donations through Save the Children’s official JustGiving webpage.
