New free London publication CAPITAL magazine debuts
Capital Magazine is new free publication aimed at 18-35 year old Londoners in the creative industries, launching in London this Friday (24 February). Founded by 23 year-old Elle Osili, a former BBC journalist, the 56-page monthly glossy, will be available from tube stations on the last Friday of each month. It will also be available on the iPad, online and in from almost 500 London venues, including the Tate, The Roundhouse, The National Theatre, The Young Vic and Whitechapel gallery. Capital Magazine has also recruited BBC presenter Cherry Healey, who will be a regular columnist for the magazine. Offering a mix of considered journalism including design and photography, the first issue features: singer Adele on the cover; interior designer Chiara Ferrari; Meryl Streep on Thatcher; TV presenter, actress and model Zara Martin on life in London; pieces on 'How to rent a home in London for £300 a month'; and 'The debate: Will the Leveson inquiry damage journalism?'. Politics, art, events, fashion and food will also be covered.

Elle Osili, founder and editor, said: “Capital will be engaging, informative and above all, interesting. Our vibrant mix of considered journalism, unique contributors and stunning visuals will make Capital London’s new must read magazine.”
