New haircare brand Touché by Flavien appoints PR for launch
Chalk PR has been appointed to handle the press and PR for Touché by Flavien, a new luxury hair brand created by celebrity hairdresser Flavien Abbas, who is also Senior Art Director for Harrods’ Urban Retreat. The brand is unique as it approaches haircare by scalp type, rather than hair type. The key ingredient is rare prickly pear oil, which takes one million seeds and 36 hours to produce one litre, and contains double the amount of fatty acids than argan oil. It is rich in natural vitamin E, is a natural anti-oxidant, has cell rejuvenating and anti-inflammatory properties and a high moisture content. Other key ingredients include argan oil, sesame seed oil, goji berry, cashmere and keratin. The range has been created in conjunction with a bio-chemist in Champagne, France, and will launch with a six-strong line-up comprising shampoos, conditioners and a treatment. It will be available from June at Urban Retreat outlets and online, with a complementary styling collection set to follow in Autumn.
