Temperley London has announced they have worked with wax museum Madame Tussauds to dress the Catherine Duchess of Cambridge figure which is being unveiled today. The figure will be part of a set of four launching globally. Each figure is portrayed in a different outfit linked to a memorable Royal event. The Temperley London Duchess of Cambridge figure debuts in Amsterdam dressed in the custom-made black lace gown worn by the Duchess to the War Horse premiere on the eve of her 30th birthday in January this year. The London, New York and Blackpool figures are dressed in Issa, Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham respectively. Following the Amsterdam reveal, the Temperley London figure will be going on a tour of Madame Tussauds attractions around the world. The Royal couple were kept informed of work on the figures at every stage of the creation process continuing a Royal relationship that goes back 180 years. The figures each took a team of artists four months to create, at a cost of £150,000.
