CEW(UK) Achiever Awards 2012 announced

The winners of the CEW(UK) Achiever Awards 2012 have been announced. The awards were introduced in the UK in 2002 to recognise creative and innovative women working within the beauty industry. Additionally, feelunique.com and HELLO! Magazine have been announced as the latest sponsors of the event. The CEW(UK) Achievers for 2012 are as follows:

Roisin Donnelly (pictured above top left), Corporate Marketing Director, Procter & Gamble UK & Ireland and Chairman of CEW(UK). Roisin is responsible for marketing on all P&G brands, including Gillette, Pantene, Max Factor and Olay. She has been instrumental in designing and delivering P&G’s “Thank You, Mum” campaign in the UK in 2012 as well as leading the company’s individual brand programmes linked to P&G’s sponsorship of the Olympic Games.

Janet Saunders (pictured above top right), General Manager, Clinique UK and Ireland. In 2000, Janet joined Estee Lauder Companies as Sales Director for Clinique. In 2002 she was promoted to the position of General Manager, Clinique, and for the last ten years has led her team to maintain their market position through focused strategies, driving growth through innovation, excellence in execution, and a determination to meet the changing needs of the UK beauty consumer.

Jo Walker (pictured above bottom left), Managing Director, The Perfume Shop. Jo has now been part of The Perfume Shop for twenty years and since taking her first role as Store Manager in Birmingham in 1992 she has worked her way up through the ranks, now holding the position of Managing Director.

Alice Hart-Davis (pictured above bottom right), beauty journalist, Author and Creator of Good Things skincare. After learning copy-editing at Vogue, she moved to the Telegraph group where she spent a decade, working for the magazine then the daily and Sunday papers, writing and editing features that ranged from lifestyle trends to test-driving sports cars. Stints at the Mail on Sunday and Evening Standard followed before she found her niche in freelance beauty writing, investigating cosmetics and anti-ageing skincare science.

The CEW(UK) 2012 Achiever Awards will take place on 16 October in London (see DIARY dates).
