woman&home launches fashion awards
& Encouraging Talent initiative

woman&home, the monthly glossy for women aged 35 and over, is launching a new fashion section from its October issue, highlighting items for the upcoming season. Appearing in the magazine twice a year to mark the start of each season, The Fashion Edit Awards celebrate the pieces the magazine knows its readers will want in their wardrobes. Led by style director Angela Kennedy, the woman&home fashion team has picked its AW winners to make up the ideal work, evening and off-duty wardrobe. At the same time, woman&home is launching its Encouraging Talent initiative, inviting graduates to design the opening image for the Fashion Edit Awards feature. The inaugural design is by Lizzie Anne Biggs who recently graduated from The London College of Fashion, where she studied fashion illustration.

woman&home editorial director Sue James says: “woman&home readers want to look good all the time and it’s truly important to them to update their style with new trends. With these awards, we’re providing an expert edit of the new season’s offerings, whether that’s the dress, coat, blouse, boot or shoe our readers will want to invest in.”
