Rebecca Lowthorpe appointed editor of
ELLE Collections & assistant editor of ELLE

ELLE UK has announced the appointment of Rebecca Lowthorpe as editor of its newly redesigned luxury biannual, ELLE Collections, as well as her promotion to assistant editor of ELLE UK. Rebecca, ELLE's fashion features director for the last nine years, has already managed the production of her first issue of ELLE Collections, overseen by editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy. The issue is on sale from today (25 July). As well as her new role at ELLE Collections, Rebecca (pictured here) has also been promoted from fashion features director to the role of assistant editor at ELLE UK where she will be involved in more strategic planning as well as retaining her authority as Fashion Features Director. The September issue of ELLE also sees the launch of Rebecca's new column 'Don't You Get It?' in which she discusses fashion's trickiest trends. Rebecca is an experienced fashion editor and writer and has worked for a variety of leading UK and US publications including The Independent, Sunday Times Style, Style.com, The Observer, Telegraph Magazine and Harper’s Bazaar US. She joined ELLE UK as fashion features editor in 2004 before being promoted to fashion features director in 2007. Rebecca will report into Lorraine Candy.
