Hunger magazine, Rankin’s fashion bi-annual, has announced the expansion of its fashion and beauty team, with the appointment of Kim Howells as womenswear fashion director, Chris Benns as menswear fashion editor and Andrew Gallimore as beauty editor-at-large. As previous contributing fashion and beauty editors to the magazine, the appointments take immediate effect and the new team will start work on the AW14 issue of Hunger, to be published in September. Kim Howells is a stylist who has previously contributed to titles such as Dazed & Confused, V, V MAN and i-D, and has styled shows for David Koma, Zandra Rhodes, Piers Atkinson and Fred Butler. Chris Benns is a celebrity stylist and brand consultant whose work has appeared in Vogue Hommes, V, Electric Youth and i-D, and he has also worked with Louis Vuitton’s Menswear creative director Kim Jones. Andrew Gallimore is the first UK make-up artist to be made an Ambassador by Dior. His experience encompasses both editorial and commercial campaigns for brands such as Boots No7, Bloomingdale’s, French Connection and G-Star. He also works with a host of magazines and celebrities including Beth Ditto and Lily Allen. Additionally, Anna Hughes Chamberlain continues in her role as senior fashion editor and online editor.
