New Look chairman Alistair McGeorge to step down

It has been announced today that Alistair McGeorge, New Look Non-Executive Chairman, will be stepping down from the Board and will leave the British global fashion retailer at the end of May 2014 to pursue other opportunities. Tom Singh, founder of the company and current Executive Director, will become Interim Non-Executive Chairman until a permanent successor is appointed. Anders Kristiansen, CEO of New Look, commented: “The Board joins me in thanking Alistair for his commitment and invaluable contribution to the Group. He has been an instrumental part of the transformation of the Company over the past three years. I would like to take this opportunity to express my enormous gratitude to Alistair for his stewardship and counsel and I wish him all the best with his future endeavours.”
