CaféPod appoints Palm PR

Palm PR has been appointed to handle the press and publicity for CaféPod, an emerging market leader in the coffee capsules category. The brand offers high quality Nespresso-compatible capsules using carefully sourced, speciality coffee, which is blended, roasted, ground, and packed on-site in Lincolnshire and is available to buy through Tesco, Waitrose and Ocado. The agency has been given a brief to position CaféPod as a UK leader in this growing category, communicating key messages about the full range to the media, as well as launching the brand’s new Origins Inspired range of distinctive single-origin coffees. In addition, Palm PR will support CaféPod’s launch to 650 Tesco stores nationwide, in a listing that is estimated to be worth £1.5million in retail sales, with full consumer and trade press outreach. Central to the PR campaign strategy is delivering first hand reviews of each product range from key food and drink publications, journalists and bloggers across print, broadcast and online publications, to secure trusted testimony and endorsement.
