MAN unveils new menswear talent for LC: M

Fashion East and TOPMAN's leading designer support scheme MAN, will return to London Collections: Men (LC: M) this June (see DIARY dates), showcasing new menswear talent. Established in 2005, the scheme continues to launch the brightest emerging designers in a group catwalk show. For SS15 Bobby Abley returns for the third season and is joined by two newcomers: Liam Hodges and Nicomede Talavera. The trio follow in the footsteps of designers including J.W. Anderson, Christopher Shannon, James Long, Shaun Samson, Agi & Sam, Astrid Andersen and Craig Green who all launched their brands through MAN. Kent designer Liam Hodges graduated from The Royal College of Art and debuted at Fashion East's Installations just weeks after his MA show in June 2013. His AW14 showcased big shapes and hard workwear silhouettes through denim dungarees, gaffa-tape trimmed bombers and monochrome knitted trousers. SS15 will see his catwalk debut. Nicomede Talavera graduated from Central St Martin's in 2013. His LCM debut at Fashion East's AW14 Installations showcased a graphic collection that played with layered tailoring, featuring high-collared zip up jackets, patent leather flared trousers and knee-length aprons.
