Illamasqua announces winners of
2014 Distinction in Make-up Artistry

Cosmetic brand Illamasqua has announced the winners of its 2014 Distinction in Make-up Artistry Awards. The awards celebrate undiscovered talent and give aspiring make-up artists and beauty enthusiasts the chance to showcase their work in front of industry professionals. The awards feature three main categories encompassing all levels of experience: Working Professional Make-Up Artist, Make-Up Student and Non-Professional. Entrants endured a three step process of an initial photographic application, live competition and public vote. Judges included Illamasqua creative director Alex Box, Illamasqua founder Julian Kynaston and head of Illamasqua Professional Development, Spob. Jemma Grace from London was awarded in the Professional Category and Klaire de Lys from Reading won the award for Non-Professional, while Lea Toussaint from Paris took home the award for the Student category. In addition, Minx Hafon from Melbourne, Australia was awarded from the Illamasqua Team category.
