Lifestyle magazine Avaunt announces launch

Avaunt is a new biannual adventure and innovation magazine for the international luxury market, curated by the team behind Port magazine, together with polar explorer Ben Saunders. Launching worldwide on 16 April, the magazine features a broad editorial filter, juxtaposing some of the world’s most authoritative figures in style, fashion, adventure, science, film, politics and literature. Avaunt will also have a digital platform, with editorial and photography from the magazine, and more, explored through inspirational film and podcasts. The Avaunt line-up includes: Matt Willey, creative director; Dan Crowe, editor-in-chief; Emily Bell, deputy editor; Alex Hunting, design director; Rebecca McClelland, photography director; David Hellqvist, fashion features editor. Contributors include Al Humphreys, Robert McCrum, Mark Twight, Rick Moody, Frédéric Lagrange, Carol Sachs and Robert Macfarlane. The magazine is priced at £10 in the UK, with full membership (for two issues and online access) priced at £30.
